A lovely clear crisp morning with exellent visibility. 28 bird species identified. Of particular note was good siting of Hen Harrier flying low over cut. Good view of Barn Owl sitting on a post in the sun by the assorted barns. Good quantities of wigeon,teal and pintail. Shoveller, oystercatchers and golden plovers. Meadow pipits and skylarks along the banks.20 to 30 fieldfare on short grass beyond the barns.
