There was a wonderful male green winged teal at Maxey on Saturday 15 April - an American version of our common teal.
There were also 3 little ringed plover on the Martin Pit, south of the Cut, and two oystercatcher and at least two green sandpiper, plus lots of activity at the sand martin colony!
