There were five little ringed plovers at Etton Maxey Pits this afternoon, just before I got soaked in a huge and unexpected downpour!
Also 4 redshank, 1 oystercatcher and 1 green sandpiper.
A flock of at least 100 linnets was periodically feeding and then rising up to fly over the Tarmac workings just south of the Cut.
