Bee orchids at Maxey Pit. Look midway between wooden bridge and hide. Also Swaddywell now showing Bee orchids on top heath close to outside grass track on the east side and also in the pit itself to the left of brown water on the path below the hut.
Swaddywell. Barn owl quartering top heath last couple of nights between 8 and 9pm
Warning..Take strong footwear to Swaddywell at present. The whole of the heath is like a wet sponge!
