I mentioned last week that I had found two small copper butterflies near Royce Wood (see 2nd picture above).
Yesterday I found another at Torpel Manor Field - so perhaps they aren't as scarce as I thought, although they are still pretty few and far between it would seem.
And if you ever thought the brimstone fairly dull take a look at the right hand picture - quite stunning really!
